In lithography, flexographic printing or gravure printing, it is a challenge to achieve printing consistency regardless of whether there is thermal offset in the ink. Ink color and ink particles are two important factors, which is a time-consuming adjustment operation. This is especially important for some inks with higher color matching requirements. Regardless of the ink type or composition, the specifications of the printed matter need to be consistent.

1. Ink filtration system solution:

There are many sources of ink pollution in production. Due to complex production, there are various types of impurities, including fiber, solid, semi-solid, etc. Normally, the circulatory system needs to completely eliminate pollutants. The filter of the system removes contaminants while ensuring that ink particles are retained, maintaining the concentration and color of the pigment.

2. Ink filtration problem:

The type of ink manufacturing process requires continuous recycling and multiple quality checks to achieve product color and grinding specifications. In many cases, the filter element can not be used even if it has not reached the end of its life and needs to be replaced. This approach brings the following shortcomings: repeat quality inspections reduce productivity; poor equipment utilization and reduced manufacturing capacity; increase filter usage and disposal costs; rising labor costs.

3. Application of Ink filtration products:

Melt Blown Filter Cartridges and string wound filter cartridges: Melt blown cartridges and string wound filter cartridges have unique advantages, such as gradient deep filtration, extremely low pressure loss, high filtration efficiency and high porosity. All of this makes melt blown cartridges and string wound filter cartridge more suitable for filtration applications of inks, paints and coatings.

PP/PE Filter Bag: In the actual production process, our commonly used ink filter bags are mainly made of PP and PE materials. This kind of ink filter bags are economical and affordable at 1~25micron. The conventional PP filter bag can withstand the pH range of 1~14 and the temperature is below 95 degrees, and the chemical properties of the ink are almost none exceeding this range, so the ink filter bag will be a suitable choice.
