The water resources for beer brewing generally come from municipal water or well water. Contaminants such as rust, colloidal suspended solids, and dirt that may be contained in the water will cause wear and tear on pipelines, equipment and systems and shorten their service life. It will also increase the pollutant load of the downstream filter system and accelerate the clogging of the filter system. Therefore, in order to improve the efficiency of brew beer and reduce the cost of equipment loss, it is essential to install an incoming water filtration system in the brewery.
1. High Flow Cartridge Filters & Housings
The incoming water filtration system should be designed according to the actual situation of the project site. If the actual use area of the project site is small, it generally choose to install high flow cartridge filter systems with the characteristics of large flow rate and high filtration efficiency. The equipment selects Stainless Steel High Flow Filter Housings and the filter consumables selects PP High Flow Pleated Filter Cartridges
2. Depth Cartridge Filters & Housings
If the actual use area of the project site is sufficient or the turbidity of the influent water quality is high, it generally choose to install the Depth Cartridge Filter System. The equipment usually chooses Stainless Steel Cartridge Filter Housings, and the filter consumables usually chooses PP Melt Blown Cartridges or PP String Wound Cartridges
In order to control the cost of designing the influent filtration system, before designing the system, the quality of the influent water and the actual area of use on the project site are generally tested. By the way, HONGTEK’s stainless steel filters can be customized according to specific water flow requirements, or they can be connected in parallel between the filters to ensure that the water flow meets the requirements of the project.
