PBT Series Polyester Pleated High Flow Filter Cartridges are made of polybutylene terephthalate non-woven media with all PBT support material, which offer high temperature and excellent chemical resistance ability. With 6inch(152mm) larger diameter, inside to outside flow direction design, PBT high flow filters expand effective filtration area significantly, reducing the quantity of filter cartridge and the size of housing required.
The unique filtration media of PBT offers broad chemical compatibility and results in an excellent filtration efficiency, which largely reduces the burden of downstream process for particle removal applications, such as cooling water filtration, RO pre-filtration, seawater desalination, amine circulation filtration and kinds of chemical solution filtration.

Installation of of PBT Pleated High Flow Filter Cartridges
● The top sealing requirements for plastic filter housings are relatively high, ensuring easy installation and replacement for easy operation
● The selection of O-ring material forPBT pleated filters are very important. Generally, materials with good liquid compatibility, such as Viton
● The liquid flow direction is in and out, so the sealing of the PBT high flow cartridges at the open end is very important to ensure no side leakage
● Due to the longer length of the 60 inch PBT high flow filters, its usually suitable for horizontal filter housings for easy installation and replacement
● In addition to being suitable for stainless steel filter housings, PBT pleated high flow filter cartridges can also be installed with plastic filter housings
● PBT high flow filter cartridges have excellent compatibility with acidic and alkaline solutions, making them widely applicable in the chemical industry
